Markforged Purge rod for clearing material from print head in composite printers. Includes 1X purge rod in a plastic case.
Compatible with Onyx Pro, Mark Two, X3, X5, and X7.
During normal printing, small amounts of print material can build up in the heat break and nozzle in the print head of your Markforged 3D printer. If left unaddressed, this degraded material can cause jams when printing Precise PLA. To prevent buildup and improve print success, it is necessary to clear this material using a purge rod every time P-PLA is loaded into the printer.
When you select P-PLA as your plastic material in the Load Material utility, you will automatically be prompted to conduct this purge rod maintenance.
Purge Rod is compatible with Onyx Pro, Mark Two, X3, X5, and X7 3D Printers.
