What is the 3D printing process for this material?
PXL Full Color 3D parts are created using ColorJet Printing (CJP) additive manufacturing technology. This technology involves two major components –core and binder. The core material is spread in thin layers over the build platform with a roller. After each layer is spread, color binder is selectively jetted from inkjet print heads, which causes the core to solidify. The build platform lowers with every subsequent layer which is spread and printed, resulting in a full-color three-dimensional model.
Will there be support scarring on this part?
The unprinted core material is self supporting, meaning no attached supports are required and no support scarring is left on the part.
How long will it take before I receive my part in this material?
Production times vary depending on machine availability, but generally PXL Full Color 3D parts are printed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
