DuraForm GF (SLS) is a glass filled composite 3D printing SLS material. It offers high stiffness durable prototypes and low to mid-volume production parts that require elevated stiffness and heat resistance.
Durable prototypes that require elevated stiffness and heat resistance, low to mid volume direct manufacturing of end-use parts, enclosures and housings that require more stiffness, aircraft and motorsports parts and sporting goods

What is the 3D printing process for this material?
SLS uses a high-powered C02 laser to fuse small particles of powdered material to create 3 dimensional parts. The laser selectively fuses powdered material by scanning X&Y cross-sections on the surface of a powder bed. The model is built one layer at a time from supplied 3D CAD data. SLS produces complex geometries, for low-volume parts that would typically require assembly using traditional manufacturing methods.
Will there be support scarring on this part?
SLS 3D printing technology does not require attached supports. The unused DuraForm PA material is self supporting, meaning no attached supports are required and no support scarring is left on the part.
How long will it take before I receive my part in this material?
Production times vary depending on machine availability, but generally DuraForm GF (SLS) 3D parts are printed and shipped within 3-5 business days.
What is the minimum recommended feature size for this 3D printing technology?
The minimum recommended feature size is 0.030"
