Hi-Speed SLA. No Tradeoffs in Speed, Precision, or Quality
The Lumia X1 is Axtra3D's flagship industrial resin 3D printer, powered by Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) technology that combines a laser and a 4K DLP projector in a single imaging pass. Rather than forcing a choice between print speed and fine detail, HPS lets the DLP projector handle large-area coverage for throughput while the laser resolves intricate details and external walls for resolution — producing isotropic, production-grade parts in both engineering and dental materials.
Built for 24/7 lights-out production, the Lumia X1 pairs industrial dual Z-axis mechanics with the company's TruLayer and Intelli-Cartridge technologies for the uptime, repeatability, and production economics that industrial, dental, aerospace, and tooling applications demand.
Speed and Detail, Without the Usual Tradeoff
Three technologies work together to eliminate the speed-vs-precision compromise other resin printers force.
Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS)
Combines a laser and 4K DLP projector in one imaging pass, delivering 2–20x faster throughput than conventional SLA, DLP, or LCD systems without sacrificing fine detail.
TruLayer Technology
Patented adaptive layer separation rapidly detaches the active print layer from the vat membrane, eliminating the hydrostatic peeling forces that limit cross-section size on conventional DLP and LCD printers.
Dual Z-Axis Precision
Industrial dual Z-axis mechanics combined with high-end optoelectronics produce a highly repeatable curing process and near-isotropic mechanical properties in all three directions.
Open Material System
The Lumia X1 ships in both open and closed material configurations. Its open system is compatible with any 405nm resin, giving shops the flexibility to process filled and unfilled resins across a wide range of viscosities as new materials become available — rather than being locked into a single supplier.
- Open system compatible with 405nm resins
- Processes filled and unfilled resins across a range of viscosities
- Validated dental resin partners: NextDent, Keystone Industries, pro3dure medical
Build Modes
Extreme Quality & High Quality Mode
Highest-resolution HPS output for fine feature detail and glass-like surface finish, with layer resolution down to 25 microns.
DLP Mode
Standard DLP-only output for jobs that prioritize throughput over the finest achievable detail.
Selecting a build mode per job lets one Lumia X1 cover everything from fast prototyping to injection-molding-quality final parts.
Proprietary HPS Slicer Included
Open File Format Support
The Lumia X1 ships with Axtra3D's proprietary HPS Slicer software, supporting standard STL files in an open system architecture that doesn't lock users into a single closed workflow.
