Flatbed Cutting Without Dies
The CF2 Series is a flatbed cutting plotter capable of cutting a wide range of media with high accuracy and no dies required. Two cutting heads support a variety of blades — tangential, reciprocal, marking gauge roller, and swivel — so one machine adapts to soft film, rigid board, or industrial-grade rubber and foam.
Available in three bed sizes — CF2-0912, CF2-1215, and CF2-1218 — the CF2 Series suits everything from POP displays and packaging prototypes to gaskets and printed circuit board components, and pairs naturally with a Mimaki inkjet printer for a screen-less, die-less, on-demand production system.
Precision Without Custom Tooling
Motor-controlled blade steering and optical registration keep cuts accurate job after job.
Tangential & Reciprocal Cutting
Motor-controlled blade steering enables precise die-cutting and half-cutting; the reciprocal head adds up-and-down blade movement (7,000 strokes/minute) for thicker, tougher materials.
Optical Registration
A mark sensor reads printed registration marks for accurate contour cutting of pre-printed media.
Repeated & Back Cutting
Repeated cutting passes handle thick material in stages, while back cutting via mark chips keeps the front surface finish clean.
Cutting Conditions, Saved and Repeatable
Press correction ensures complete cuts as blade sharpness changes, and cutting conditions — pressure, speed, offsets, and more — can be registered and recalled by tool, so switching jobs doesn't mean re-tuning the machine each time.
