The A3 Desktop UV-LED Standard
The UJF-3042 MkII e is the successor to the original UJF-3042 MkII, improving image quality and machine stability while keeping the operability that made the earlier model popular. Its A3-size print area (297 x 420 mm) and 6" media clearance make it a compact fit for short-run, direct-to-object printing.
It's built for shops creating specialty items, awards, personalized products, and component pieces — anywhere a small footprint and consistent quality matter more than raw production volume.
Improved Image Quality, Same Reliable Platform
MFD2 halftoning is the headline upgrade — three supporting technologies round it out.
MFD2 Halftoning
Improved image quality over the original UJF-3042 MkII, with more precise control over ink dot placement.
Waveform Control + Variable Dots
An optimum waveform jets each ink color at a precise angle, while three droplet sizes (5–22 pL) balance detail and coverage.
Automatic Nozzle Cleaning
Clogged nozzles are detected automatically by sensor and cleaned without operator intervention, reducing wasted prints.
Low-VOC UV-LED Ink
The UJF-3042 MkII e runs on the same low-VOC UV-LED ink family as the rest of the UJF-MkII e line. An optional deodorizing unit is available for shops printing in shared or ventilation-limited spaces.

Ink Types
LH-100 — Rigid UV Ink
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black. Rigid formulation for wood, acrylic, metal, and similar hard substrates.
Flexible UV Ink Option
A flexible ink option extends the printer to leather and other semi-rigid materials that need to bend after printing.
The staggered printhead arrangement lets two layers of color, or a spot color, print simultaneously without a productivity penalty.
RasterLink7 Included
Numbering & Variable Data Printing
RasterLink7 enables numbering and variable data insertion, letting the UJF-3042 MkII e handle personalized, sequential, or batch print jobs without leaving its standard workflow.
