Mimaki Maintenance Liquid 16 is a high-strength cleaning fluid reserved for Nozzle Wash procedures when standard maintenance liquids (such as ML-15 or PR-200 Maintenance Liquid) fail to resolve persistent nozzle missing or deflection issues. Its stronger formulation dissolves stubborn dried ink and pigment residue that lighter fluids can't clear — but it is not a general-purpose cleaner: ML-16 can degrade rubber and plastic components and should be used strictly for Nozzle Wash, not applied to print heads, delivery lines, or other printer parts broadly.
